Applied Researcher | Assistant Professor

I'm a scientist-practitioner passionate about bridging research and practice to improve the experiences of those on the job market.

My applied work spans the assessment of workforce needs and recruitment strategies to assessment, selection, onboarding, and retention. I collaborate with organizations to develop evidence-based strategies that address complex talent challenges.

My research focuses on recruitment, selection, and assessment, with attention to the candidate experience. I'm especially interested in how hiring practices communicate opportunity, shape perceptions of fairness, and influence individual and organizational outcomes.

As an educator, I strive to create a student-centered learning environment that values each learner’s unique perspective. I intentionally incorporate student experiences into the classroom to enrich discussion, foster critical thinking, and ensure that course content is relevant and applied.
